Horse Wormers
Protecting your horse from worms with regular treatment is paramount to their overall well-being. Worms can cause a lot of harm if left untreated for extended periods. Explore our selection of effective wormers to eliminate worms, ensuring your horse stays parasite-free.
We stock tried and trusted brands such as Equest, Equimax, and Eqvalan. Worms can pose serious health risks to your horse if left untreated. Ensure you consult your veterinarian to discuss how often you should be worming your horse.
Wormers are reactive medicines that only kill worms, eggs and larvae that are present in your horse's system. They do not prevent new infestations. Horses who spend a lot of time in the field or with other horses may be more susceptible to worms.
In addition to worm treatments, ensure your horse gets all the nutrients they need with our range of horse supplements.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
How do I know if my horse has worms?
Detecting worms in horses can be challenging because the symptoms can vary depending on the type of worm and the severity of the infestation.
Worms can cause a horse to lose weight despite maintaining a healthy appetite. Worm-infested horses may have dull, rough or patchy coats due to nutritional deficiencies caused by the parasites.
Some horses with heavy worm infestations may develop a pot-bellied appearance due to bloating or swelling in the abdomen. Worms can sap a horse's energy and make them lethargic or weak, especially in advanced cases.
Changes in bowel movements, such as diarrhoea or constipation can occur with certain types of worm infestations. In severe cases, you may notice adult worms in your horse's faeces. However, this is relatively uncommon.
Horses may rub or scratch their hindquarters excessively if they are experiencing discomfort from worms. If you suspect your horse may have worms, it's essential to consult with your veterinarian.
Can you worm pregnant horses?
