Itrafungol Oral Solution is indicated for the treatment of Dermatophytosis in cats. Dermatophytosis, otherwise known as Ringworm, is an infection that manifests most commonly around the ears, eyes, or extremities, as focal alopecia, scaling, and crusting to the skin.
Ringworm can affect humans and so care should be taken during treatment. Sterilising grooming equipment and bedding, and wearing gloves when handling infected cats can help to reduce the risk of spreading.
Itrafungol Oral Solution is manufactured by Elanco and developed specifically for cats. As such, it must never be used in other animals.
