Regu-Mate 0.22% is used in the regulation of hormonal changes in mares that cause undesirable behaviour. It is common for the behaviour and focus of a mare to change during estrus (heat cycle). This can be particularly undesirable for performance horses, when focus and behaviour is of paramount importance. You can reduce these undesirable changes in mood by suppressing your mare’s estrous. Regu-Mate is a synthetic form of the progesterone hormone, which reliably prevents mares from entering estrus. Regu-Mate 0.22% 150ml is manufactured by DPT Laboratories and developed specifically for horses. As such it must never be used in other animals.
