Rimadyl Tablets have been developed to improve mobility in dogs suffering from chronic cases of musculo-skeletal inflammation. Chronic conditions such as degenerative joint disease, or Osteoarthritis, are progressive, long-term illnesses characterised by the deterioration of the cartilage surrounding joints. This causes pain, stiffness and long periods of inactivity. Rimadyl is a non-steroidal-anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that is effective in relieving the pain and inflammation in the joints of dogs with arthritis.
When given as directed by your vet, the active ingredient, Carprofen, steadily improves clinical signs of arthritis in dogs. With it's NSAID properties, Rimadyl can also be prescribed for the management of post-operative pain, such as spays, neuters and dental procedures, to help your dog recover comfortably.
Rimadyl 20mg Palatable Tablets are manufactured by Zoeits and developed specifically for dogs. As such, they must never be used in other animals.
