Vidalta 10mg prolonged-release tablets are for the treatment of hyperthyroidism and hyperthyroidism-associated clinical signs in cats. Hyperthyroidism is a common disease in cats caused by abnormal changes or tumours in the thyroid gland, which results in abnormally high levels of thyroid hormones being secreted. Vidalta tablets contain an active ingredient which works by blocking the manufacture of thyroid hormones. Vidalta 10mg prolonged-release tablets are manufactured by MSD Animal Health.
